What is a DTV surveillance system?
Still looking for HD CCTV solutions to upgrade your analog security system to full HD quality? DTV surveillance, a digital surveillance solution for CCTV upgrades, is definitely the best security solution to advance videos of an original CCTV system into higher resolutions. The DTV surveillance, adopting the ccHDtv technology, is a new-generation security solution that applies digital TV transmission technologies to video and audio transmission in surveillance systems. Signals are transmitted through regular coaxial cables such as 3C-2V or RG-59, the most common cable types in CCTV systems. Although there are existing HD CCTV solutions in the market, the DTV surveillance outperforms other solutions by its: (1) easiness in installation (no need to re-deploy coaxes in original CCTV systems), (2) robust anti-interference capacity on coaxial cables, and (3) extremely long transmission range. With 5C-2V or RG-6 coaxial cables, the transmission distance can be up to 1000 meters (3300 ft.), while 500 meters (1640 ft.) with 3C-2V or RG-59 cables. No additional repeaters are needed.
